I teach because I love working with people and introducing them to something new. I have been teaching music and the art of performance for eight years. I currently teach in Oakland, Richmond and throughout the rest of the Bay Area. Teaching is such a wonderful opportunity to show someone things they haven’t seen before and that learning can be fun! I have learned so much from my students through my teaching experiences and through the relationships I've built with them. I remember a few of my teachers who really took the time to teach and uplift me. It was a teacher who encouraged me to teach—she saw in me an ability in to explain things to others in a way they could understand. Teaching is an opportunity to reach out to my community and make positive change through what I teach and the messages I bring.
